  • It's a cool idea But my dogs didn't like it. I was hoping to distract him when we leave the house but he wasn't much interested in the toy.
Busy buddy lives up to it's name! My dog loves this toy. It does have to have the right kind of treat inside. I use his dog's kibble dog food but might get the 'berries' they also sell for this toy. If you put awkward treat pieces in there it may be hard to close up or for your dog to get them out but it would keep them busy trying. Four stars because I wasn't particularly pleased with the rubber smell and have washed the toy several times in hot soapy water hoping the smell would disapate. It hasn't yet so he doesn't get long play times with it. No where on the package does it say 'dishwasher safe' or BPA free. I do have to wonder the odor is strong but so is the toy.
Chewers will kill this in minutes good idea poor materials I should have trusted the other reviews. Great idea and my mini dachshund loves it maybe too much. He's completely destroyed it in less than a day. Good idea poor materials. If a 13 pound mini dachshund can chew this to bits any dog can and likely will. Somewhat dangerous too my if they swallow the bits the chew off.
Great way to make your dog work for food This is a great product for meal times about a 1/2 cup of my dog's kibble fits in the disk and we leave it on the floor. She nudges it around and it takes about 10 minutes or so before she gets every piece out eating it one piece at a time. This would be great for a dog that eats too fast from a bowl. Being a beagle my dog loves to sniff around so she finds the kibble that's fallen out by tracking the scent and so it's fun for her as well. This is a good way to get your dog to use up some energy for his/her meal rather than just eating it straight from a bowl.
Great toy for dog and owner! Many of the pet dispensers are messy to load for the owner. This one is easy to load for the owner. My pet loves it and I can put dry food in it without it being easy to come outyou can screw the toy tightly or depending on the product you put in it less tight. I love that the owner can adjust the space depending on what is put in the toy.

Definitely not the toy for aggressive chewers like my Lab mix 1.5 stars at most.My 3yo 65lb Lab didn't just get his treats out of this toy within 5 minutes he'd also shredded it! That was two days ago. Unfortunately he'd also swallowed some of those bits because I'm still seeing little purple bits in his poop.At the time I bought this in a store not at Amazon I didn't check the chew strength it was only rated for middling chew strength.
Great for the workplace I've got a King Charles Cavalier puppy. At this point he is not a power chewer like some of the bigger working breeds so I can't speak to how this will perform for him as an adult. I'm using the small one to dispense puppy chow to him through the day great for mixing up his time in his crate walks and with chewies. It helps us get through the day without him becoming selfemployed as they say. My favorite thing about this puzzle is that the soft rubber means that the kibble does not rattle. I have another treat ball that is hard plastic and it's quite rattley as he manipulates it. This way my coworkers are not disturbed. The disk shape also means that it rarely gets bounced outside of my cube.
Don't waste your money. My small Bichon Frisee ripped this thing apart in the first five minutes. It poses a hazard to any dog ingesting the pieces of plastic/rubber whatever it is. No wonder they tell you to supervise your dog while playing with it.
5 Stars My dog loves this toy! The vents in the top and bottom ensure that she smells the treats easily and keeps with it. Other toys have fewer vents and she loses interest easily but not this one. Only problem is I gave it to her one day and she's hidden it from me. If only I could find it I'm sure I'd refill it for her.I guess I have to order another.
