KONG Puppy Kong Small Assorted puppy kong
KONG Puppy Kong Toy, Small, Assorted Pink/Blue Read more... Stuff with KONG treats or ZIGGIES to aid in crate training and decrease separation anxiety Made in the USA of nontoxic, extremely durable natural rubber Measures 3-inches by 1-3/4 inches; for puppies 1 to 20 pounds Sturdy, durable toy for teething puppies that helps deter misbehaviors Eases sore gums, promotes healthy jaw development and teaches appropriate chewing habits
Worked alright I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and when she was a puppy it was hard to find a toy she couldn't sink her puppy teeth into and rip apart within a matter of minutes. Being familiar with the various brands of toys and having to find something for her to chew on that wasn't my fingers I went in search of a Kong. I figured that special teething rubber formula meant it would stand up to my little pup and her crazy teeth. Well she managed to pull a small piece off of it at one end and chewed so hard that the rubber started to kind of give in the joints I guess that's what you could call them the nonbulbous parts?. While it never shredded and she never pulled more than one piece of it apart and I'd have to say it held up fairly well I still wasn't impressed. Most other Kong toys I've purchased since have held up significantly better than this one did and she's only 1.5 yrs old. I'd skip the puppy toy and go straight to the black Kong toys if you've got a crazy chewer with some peanut butter stuck inside of course as they seem to hold up better even with puppy teeth and are worth the little extra $$.
dog loves it Golden retriever puppy loves chewing this much better than the adult versions. Trying to save the furniture shoes and plants.
Puppy love! My puppy loves her Kong. I've been stuffing it with treats and giving it to her before I leave for work. It's hole is small but she doesn't seem to have much trouble getting the treats out.Bonus is that the cats play with it too. I found it clear on the other side of the house where the puppy cannot get to so one of my four kitties must've had a blast knocking it around.I will probably end up buying another so I can rotate their use as I feel so bad taking it from puppy to freeze it overnight.
the small classic is the same as the puppy kong but with a different color I bought the puppy kong to my new puppy we lost it after couple of days then I bought the small classic kong. To my surprise they looked exactly like the same but for the color. The puppy kongs come in light blue and pink the small classic comes in dark pink and it is two dollars cheaper. Not much since these toys are pretty cheap but if your puppy is like mine and keeps loosing her toys then price might matter.
This is one of her favorite toys! This Kong Small Puppy Toy with her treats stuffed inside is a winner with our pup. She plays with it quite a long time before she moves on to her next toy. These Kong treat toys are a soft rubber and may not be for some larger pups that are real chewers. In fact the package instructions are not to give to pets older than 9 months. I like the Kong dog toys and think their quality is good and why I have purchased them for two other dogs.
small kong toy Nothing wrong with the product itself however my puppy just wasn't interested in it. I filled it with all different kinds of treat and only amused him for a small amount of time whether or not he got the treat out or not. He is a Lab/Border Collie and seems to lose interest quickly it if can't be ripped apart and destroyed easliy. Still searching for that perfect toy for down time .
My lab pup loves it My 4 month lab puppy loves this! I have been filling with dry food and sealing the end with peanut butter. If I have time I'll throw it in the freezer to make him work at the peanut butter more. Overall it is a great product and it keeps him busy for 20 minute blocks of time.
Thankyou!
Does the job! I recently bought this toy for my maltipoo pup. I give it a 4 star rating because it does the job in keeping her busy and occupied. It's durable and seems to help with her teething. However I don't think it does anything spectacular in comparison to other toys. This may be because she is a puppy and would enjoy playing with anything. Like many other reviewers I too put peanut butter in the toy and the peanut butter is in itself a treat for her. If she licks the peanut butter and is satisfied her desire to get the treat isn't of utmost concern to her anymore.
puppy kong This product is great.Very sturdy will last a long time.

perfect size and texture for small breed puppy I've used lots of kongs in the past but never bought the puppy specific one. I was very glad to see it wasn't too hard for her teeth and gave enough for her to be able to chew out whatever I stuff in there. She loves that it bounces all over the place and treats it much like one of her balls. It's definitely worth the money for a new small breed puppy.
Super Cute I didn't know they made them this small. I love it.
Lil Kong I got this for my Mom's lil Chihuahua pup He hasn't stopped chewing it yet. Its now his favorite toy! Though he has lost his puppy teeth he still acts like it is a teething toy he goes for hours chewing playing with it and falls a sleep next to it. It doesn't have to have a treat in it for him he likes it plain too.

Everlasting Treat Dogs Liver Small World's greatest treats
Everlasting Treat for Dogs, Liver, Small Read more... 2 treats per package Great for keeping teeth clean Extreme palatability Natural, edible, digestible ingredients Use as a tasty snack or with the Everlasting Treat Ball
Not everlasting but long lasting the second time around. We have a 5 year old Saint Bernard. It's hard to find treats that can stand up to her for more than 20 minutes so I thought I'd give these a try. First one disappeared literally within 5 minutes. Disappointing. Gave her the second one and it lasted for 2 hours. I suspect the first was broken into pieces and chewed that way whereas the second was chewed on as a single piece making it last longer.
Be Careful!! Made in China My bull terrier loved this toy. It's long lasting and the only toy that my dog didn't destroy in 10 minutes. I thought it was great until he came down with a fever and intense diarrhea and a low grade fever after getting a piece of it out of the toy. The vet said that it was recalled a few years back but couldn't find out why.
great Great product dog loves it. The medium ones he can get out of the ball.
My dog loves these treats!! I have a golden retriever who loves these treats and they are a good chewing alternative since she has started having some anxiety when left alone. They last longer when placed in the treat balls but it can be a pain to get them into the ball so I have given them outside the ball as well. Like I said doesn't last as long but still keeps her busy for a few hours. If you don't have a power chewer it should last longer but a few hours is the max around here.
World's greatest treats These are the greatest keep your dog happy and occupied treats. My dogs range in size from 9 lbs to 120 lbs and they both love these. I get the large size treat ball and even the little guy can carry it around and chew on it. My dogs are so crazy about this toy that I've given them as presents to friends dogs.
These really last Put these in the rubber toy made for them and my dog chews and plays for days. I really appreciate how much she enjoys trying to chew these out for hours at a time. I always keep some in the house.
Keeps my dog busy! I have been ordering the everlasting treats for a while now and they really are a great way to keep my Goldendoodle busy. I have a very bright and powerful chewer who likes to be part of the action at all times. I only bring these out every few weeks or so because she looses interest if I give them to her too often. The only down side I would say is that she works on them for so long her paws do have a tendency to get a little smelly and wet so they do need to be cleaned off afterwards. The key is a treat ball keep an eye on it. Once they get stretched out the refills are too easy to pop out.
Everlasting treat for dogs. The price was good on these treats. My dog likes them so I bought several so that I woud have some on hand. The delivery was prompt.
not for indoor use My dog loved the treat but I now have stains all over my house from the product. I recommend that this be used only outdoors.
Nothing that good lasts for ever. My daughter's 1 year old blue nose pit Dex loves these Everlasting Treats. But I wish they would last longer. We put the treat insides the everlast ball and within eight hours it's done. Maybe it's because he does not touch any of his other chews when he has these everlast treats.

Premier Busy Buddy Kibble Nibble Opens waaaay too easily
Premier Busy Buddy Kibble Nibble Dog Toy Read more... Holds about 2 cups of kibble or treats (sold separately) Mixes food and exercise for a fun dog toy that keeps your pet in shape Randomly dispenses treats while your dog plays with it Unscrews for easy fillup and cleaning For dogs over 20 pounds
Premier Busy Buddy Kibble I thought my pup would play with this more after reading others reviews but he hasn't showed much interest in it just yet could be that he has so many toys he just hasn't had a chance to investigate further. It does appear to be a durable product. of course time will tell.
Fun way to feed kibble! My dog usually scarfs her food down so fast she practically chokes. I decided to try a kibble toy to slow her down. I decided on this one over the tugajug because my dog is crazy and throws things around when she gets excited. I thought the tugajug would probably end up getting thrown into the TV or something. This works really well to slow my dog down when eating. Now she only gets a few pieces at a time which is great and dinner is now a fun game for her. It's really cute to watch her run around the house tail wagging chasing this egg and the kibble trail it leaves behind. This kibble toy holds a lot of dog food. There is plenty of room for my dogs normal serving which is probably about 2 cups. The rubber prongs at the openings are easy to trim. I cut very small pieces off at first less than 1/4 at a time to make sure I didn't over do it. Then I filled it with food and let my dog play with it. I feed my dog Purina Beneful just for a size reference. At first only about one piece would come out at a time. Now after a few trimmings I have it so that about 4 or 5 pieces of kibble fall out at a time. This seems to be the magic number to keep my dog's interest. It's holding up well to rolling around the house and banging into stuff but it would definitely not hold up to being chewed on. My dog doesn't try to chew on it now that a decent amount of kibble comes out but she did when only 1 or 2 pieces were falling out at a time. After she gets down to about 1/4 cup of kibble she has trouble making it fall out so I dump it into her bowl. It makes quite a bit of noise when rolled around on hard floors but it doesn't really bother me.
Not for really active &/or intelligent dogs This is is durable product but quickly after emptying her first bowl full she figured out that she didn't need to chase it around getting a few treats at a time! She unscrewed with her clever agile paws. It just doesn't connect the top and bottom securely enuff for my pup. Now she'll sometimes roll it all over the place just to have something to do but don't spend your money unless you have really dumb dogseven my 15yr old Bouvier just opens it.
Good toy bad dog My dog really liked this toy but it's not very durable. He was able to get crack it open within the first day and chew most of the soft plastic off. However my dog is an expert destroyer. So if your dog is less prone to destruction I would recommend this toy.
One is not enough This is it! My Mini Aussies LOVE this ball and compete for it. Never in a mean way but by sneaking hiding running away with it leaving it in the yard or laying on it. Fun entertainment for me to watch to see who has it now. My one issue is finding a dry kibble that is the right size. The ones recommended Buddyberries fall out too quickly. Other sizes fall out too slowly. I don't want to cut the rubber pieces at the opening as one of them will take care of that. I'll keep searching for just the right size treat but in the meantime I am ordering another purple ball.P.S.
Dog ate more plastic than kibble Ok I have a chewer. Mini dachshund loves this toy and many toys don't hold up. The purple rubber on the outside has been chewed off almost completely in only two days of play. On the bright side he love it! But the twist n play toy held up much longer.
Opens waaaay too easily Really liked this until it started opening and spilling out all the food at once. Unfortunately this happened after about 3 uses. Maybe we got one that didn't screw together so tightly but this was pretty much a bust for us. Dog is 8months old and medium sized.
disappointing busy Buddy Kibble Nibble Feeder dog ball It may be ok for some people and their dogs but it is not something I would order again and spend my money on again. I guess it was worth a try for me but no go.
There are better options out there There was a recent redesign of this product and it's no good. I used this with my dogs and they were bothe able to open it in seconds instead of getting the food out of the designed holes. I ended up having to glue it closed and now I have to put the food in through the holes They should go back to he old design it allowed you to tighten it this one clicks into place and is easily clicked out of place.
Don't Waste Your Money Within minutes the edges were coming apart. The food barely came out even though the pieces of food are small even when we made the recommended adjustments to the openings. I would not recommend this product for any size dogs we have a smaller 35 lb dog and an 85 lb dog and the product did not hold up with either of them. We bought the wobble kong as well and it's great. Both dogs love it because while they have to work at it the food actually comes out and we love it because it's holding up. The large and extra large wobble kongs are less expensive than the busy buddy kibble nibble and the quality of the Kong is far superior.

The large and extra large wobble kongs are less expensive than the busy buddy kibble nibble and the quality of the Kong is far superior.

woof I have a 7 pound dog and she likes this. She is 5 but likes to chew it. Not sure how they get bacon flavor in there cause its hard plastic cant smell it.

Little Blue Bits Everywhere Our dog LOVED this toy I cannot stress this enough. He loved the challenge of getting the treats out and it was a great distraction for him while we were blowdrying him after his baths which is why we got it. But our dog is also a very strong chewer and he soon had little bits of blue rubber flaking out all over everywhere it came out in his poo of course. As much as we loved this toy I just can't feel comfortable essentially feeding our dog blue rubber and I would certainly never have left him alone with it for fear he would have simply devoured the entire thing along with the treat stick. In other words it really doesn't fulfill its purpose and I can't recommend it.
Need to be creative with this toy At first I placed an Occupi busy bars as directed on the package. Sure the busy bars entertained my maltese and poodle mix but not this toy in the beginning.I gave this toy one last chance to be useful.. and then I finally found out how to use this toy to dispense treats! My dogs love beef liver cubes. I cut the cubes into tiny pieces small enough to fit down the tube of this toy. Then I used the Pupperoni treats to plug up the small holes on the sides and a really big piece of Pupperoni or a beef liver cube to plug up the large end of the tube. With this formula this toy is now a success! It exhausts and challenges the dogs! It usually takes them quite a while to get all the treats out. Hooray! Yeah if I didn't figure out this technique sooner then I would have tossed this toy for sure.So far this toy has been very durable. Its lasted longer than our tirebased toys.
might be better if used with alternative treats This is a review for the Small size Occupi toy used with the small size busy barsI bought this for my 12week old puppy since she's currently in the cheweverythingwithinrangeofhermouth stage. At first it seemed like a great toy. I bought the crunchy busy bars to put inside the toy and she absolutely LOVED chewing on it. I soon realized there were quite a few problems with this toy howeverMy small puppy she's a chihuahua mixso quite small indeed very quickly chewed through the part of the busy bar that was sticking out the end of the toy. However she was unable to remove the rest of the bar from the toy and quickly lost interest in it. I ended up poking a knitting needle through the hole in the top to dislodge the remaining part of the bar and she pulled it loose from the toy within a minute or two and just ate the bar. If I had left her alone with the toy it wouldn't have occupied her for long which seems contrary to the purpose of this product.Since the bar can be consumed so quickly my puppy ended up getting sick that night and threw up. As a result I would not recommend the busy bars for small dogs since even the small sized busy bars are not really an appropriate size for a puppy to eat in one sitting I realize they do sell other types of treats for this toy but unfortunately I now have a bag of busy bars that are evidently not appropriate for my small dog.Even after one day of use by a wee little dog the toy was covered in teeth marks and I'm not sure it will be able to endure regular chewing.Overall I wasn't impressed by this toy and I especially wasn't impressed by the busy bars meant to go inside.
Ret loves it Ret loves tearing it apart anyway Another toy to add to the list of not so durable toys. At least he kindly spit out most of the chunks.
Dumbest toy ever Big hole in the bottom just dumps all the treats out on the carpet when my dog touches it.
Not worth the money I usually buy the Kong toys for our 4 dogs but thought the different shape of this one would interest them. It did for about 10 minutes. This toy started falling apart so quickly I didn't even have all the Christmas shopping out of the car and inside before it was in small chunks all over my living room. Very disappointing.
complicated We haven't had much experience with chewing it yet still working out the treats issue. The Bits fall out the holes like water and we got the wrong size bars to block the hole.
Unfortunately chewed up within 3 minutes I wanted this product to work for our 9 mo. old 35# chewer. She had the top chewed into pieces within 3 minutes. Thankfully she didn't swallow any of it so I don't have to go hunting in poop.GREAT idea but it was grossly inferior to the Kong products.
Not for powerful chewers My Labrador retriever chewed through this toy near the top within minutes of finishing the treats I had stuffed inside. Also the small round treats they sell with the toy spill out immediately so they do not present a challenge to occupy the dog. It is really frustrating to spend money on toys to keep him busy only to have him chew through them very quickly. I will stick to Kong toys from now on. They are the only toys he cannot destroy.
definitely not tough enough I have a 6 month old miniature poodle. Yes she has her adult teeth and is a determined chewer but she is not a pit bull. This toy small version she is only 14 lb lasted less than 10 minutes before she tore chunks off it. She loved it and greatly protested its confiscation but I didn't feel it was safe for her to eat big hunks of rubber. She did love it which is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1 but it was too expensive for 5 minutes of fun. She has also taken chunks out of ordinary nylabones but so far has failed to dent her puppy kongs even with adult teeth.
