Tough Toy Premier makes great quality toys for those of us with powerful chewers. My 10 month old weimaraner hasn't been able to put a dent in her squirrel dude despite being in a bit of a destructive phase. That being said it isn't her favorite toy. If she was more food motivated I think she would be more interested in it. At this point she still prefers her kong to the squirrel dude.
GREAT product I bought this for my shih tzu after it was recommended by a teacher at my local animal shelter. I could not be happier! I can't believe how much fun my dog now has eating her kibble. I'll put large treats in there as well and it will occupy her for hours! So much better and more mentally stimulating for her. I highly recommend.
Works ok This works ok. My dog has a hard time getting food out of it but if I cut the tabs I'll never be able to make it harder for him to get things ok. Lasted longer than a regular Kong but not as useful.
More challenging than a kong This toy is perfect for my dog who has mastered the art of the kong. It has little rubber appendages over the large opening that can be trimmed to make it easier or left on to make it more challenging. It's a shame that you have to cut them off though because once they are gone that is it you can't make it harder for treats to come out not an issue with my dog though. Overall design is good too but my dog couldn't care less if it's shaped like a squirrel or not. It may be not as hardy as the kong thoughprobably not good for toy destroyers and i think my dog could rip off the appendages if he wanted to but he doesn't destroy his toys.
never received I was required to pick a star for rating so I picked one but I did not get the productI had ordered the toys for my dogs= days later received a message that the items never shipped and a refund would be made to my account. NO explanation was ever given no opportunity to substitute another product.
Still going strong Bought this about a year ago it is harder to get food out of due to the rubber bits at the entry therefore creating more of a challenge to dogs who can get food out of the Kong with little problem. We put dry food in it like broken up milkbone and charliebear treats. It is very heavy duty rubber and I put it in the dishwasher for a clean every so often. Dont cut the rubber bits too short or the challenge will be gone and the food will fall out too easily.
Our Malinois Loves This Toy! This was a Christmas present for our Malinois to keep her occupied while we opened gifts. It did the job. I also purchased some Zuke's mini bakes and fruitables treats to go along with it. Ziva is a problem solver so she really worked that first day to figure out how to get the treats out. If I want to just amuse her a little I put in the Zuke's treats they come out more readily. If I really want to occupy her time longer I put in the fruitables treats. You can snip the little prongs a bit to let the treats fall out easier but be careful not to take off too much like I did. I'm ordering another one because I got a bit carried away with the scissors.

Medium Squirrel Dude not appealing to our Puggle We have a 10 month old Puggle who chews on everything!wood furniture rugs carpet etc. We thought squirrel dude would be a great diversion for her but she is not interested in squirrel dude at all even when we stuff him with her favorite treat. He has a really rubbery smell. Disappointed.
Bulldog loves it! I bought this for my bulldog. He uses this and the KONG genius. Both are very good but I like this one because you can trim the prongs on it and make it easier if need be. The toy is VERY durable but is not meant to be left out for the dog to chew on. Once the stuffing is out pickup the toy and take it away.

May dog has the jaws but lacks motivation she likes to put all her vinyl in a pile hidden from view. The balloons line are loud fun and bounce in a crazy unpredictable fashion. Dog tore it apart in minutes My dog loved this toy unfortunately he tore it apart in minutes and started munching on the materials inside. If your dog tears apart most rubber toys I would advise against this toy. My dog loves this toy!! My dog Pepper is an aggressive chewer! I realized how wrong I was when my dog barfed up some large pieces 24+ hours after I took the Chew N' Clean toy away from her. I am going to watch her closely because I am concerned that there could be more pieces inside her that could cause a lethal blockage. Years ago I had a different dog who chewed up and ate a rubber squeak toy. We took him to the vet and he endured unnecessary surgery because an artifact caused the XRay to appear as if there was a large piece inside him when in fact there wasn't anything. It took home over 2 weeks to recover and cost over $1000. The vet now has a policy of taking a second Xray before performing surgery but I am still reluctant to rush my dogs off to the vet after one eats things she shouldn't. I have a terrier that is a very agressive chewer. Most chew toys don't last past the first 20 minutes. Too big and heavyand stinky I was so excited to buy this moustache and bring it home and thought about how cute my little boys would be carrying it around with silly moustaches on. They usually LOVE all things rubber to chew on so I thought this would be hysterical. To my surprise NONE of my three Pekingese would even touch it. It had a very strong rubber smell more so than normal and even when I touched it with my hands and smelled my hands smelled very strongly of rubber so perhaps that was one of the reasons that they didn't want to put it in their mouths. Either way very disappointing and would not recommend this toy. Also the moustache and ball itself is WAY too big and heavy for anything besides a large breed dog to carry around. Really cute but not that durable Sam my German Shorthaired Pointer is a pretty tough chewer. He loves this toy but I cannot leave it with him unsupervised as he always wants to chew on the handlebar part of the stache thus chewing off actual pieces!This is a great fetch toy just not durable enough to be a chew toy. We've had this sheep for more than two years and it has been her favorite toy since the day we bought it. She hasn't chewed off any parts of the toy and it's still in great shapeall the squeakers still work. A+ toy for durability and fun. Destroyed in 24 hours I have a 23 lb Boston Terrier that destroys toys this one was no exception. I thought it would last it looked stronger but it was not. He did enjoy it though. Our lamb has no feet or squeakers left! We purchased this toy for our jack russell mix who destroys everything we buy for her. This toy was no different. First she removed each foot to destroy those squeakers then she ripped a hole in it's back to remove the main squeaker even though she had already killed it. Unfortunately these more expensive toys last no longer for a tough chewer than the less expensive ones. So while the toy was extremely cute it lasted less than an hour. Tough toy!
