  • Perfect chew toy!! I have a 17 lb Cockachon half bichon frise/ half cocker spaniel that is pretty hard on her toys. Nylabones usually last her about 23 days and I get the size meant for larger dogs. My dog also tends to get bored with toys easily. My roommates had a Bento Ball for their Beagle mix and my dog came across it in the living room one day and played with it for 2 straight hours before I made her leave it alone.
    Everlasting??? not really
great toy My dog collie/shepherd mix is an energetic and persistent chewer and she loves this toy. Chewing and chomping keeps her busy and occupied and when she's done she's exhausted. It takes her about an hour and a half to finish off the treat. My one complaint is that the refills are pretty expensive and my dog certainly won't leave it alone until it's gone. I have made some homemade biscuits and sort of glued them inside the ball with peanut butter and that is a cheaper alternative. Also it is pretty hard to get the refills in. Put as much of it as you can easily under the lip and push the rest down against a hard surface. Forget trying to stretch the lip around the refill.
Destructed in 5 minuts I have the medium bento ball my dog got it for christmas from grandma but she grew out of it so I splurged and purchased the large ball. For some reason she ate it in seconds. The medium ball has lasted a many treats. The large didn't even last one treat. My dog does love her bento balls but I dont for the price.
Works for my bored poodle mix puppy but ingredients could be better I have a 7monthold 10pound Schnoodle puppy who gets bored easily so as a result he will get into and chew on everything. This is the only toy that's been able to pacify and occupy him for an extended amount of time. He has a Kong but he gets the peanut butter out of there in less than a 5 minutes. He is not very destructive compared to my Boxer mix so he hasn't destroyed the rubber at all. He's just interested in the everlasting treat and he's actually very gentle with the rest of the ball. I'm probably going to get the regular ball for my Boxer mix and see how she likes that one. Also the ingredients listed for the treat ball included are not optimal but my puppy hasn't had any issues since he has a pretty strong stomach. I will probably get the cornfree for both my pups next time.
Put Treat in Backwards for smart/determined dog My dog lab mix loves this and it lasts forever as long as I put treat in upside Down. This is a pain the first time because one treat comes in the ball and it tough to remove and put in the opposite way. After that works great and easy to replace. If the treat is in the normal way my dog eats it in 15 secs tops. Ocassionally she gets bored with the treats so I use different flavors and taking the treat away from time to time to keep her interested. my dog isn't a big chewer or food orientedMedium is really the right size for her little under 40 LB but sometimes I let her have the large. Both work great.
Dogs love them I own two Italian greyhounds and they love these. They love this thing so much that even if they both have one fights still break out because they always want what the other one has. They will spend hours trying to get the treat out of the ball. It is the perfect size for a 1025 pound dog.
Keeps him busy! My dog does not like to be left home alone after a few years and having been left outside one winter his blue ball from this company was a little ratty so I ordered him this. I like the nubs on one side which I think help his teeth but the treats sit a little lower in this ball which takes him longer good but is harder to load the everlasting treat pucks in and he seems to have more teeth marks in this one already then his blue one so I am not giving it all five stars as the blue one held up better over time.
Our Boy Loves This Toy We have a little Llasa with a big mouth. He's torn up every toy and chews through bones in five minutes. This toy? He loves it and it lasts and lasts. Keeps him occupied for days. Plus it's durable. Highly recommended from all of us.
Did you notice the ingredients? I thought this toy would be great for keeping my dog busy and burning off some excess energy but I noticed she actually gets more hyper after eating one of the treats. I looked at the ingredients and found the main ingredients to be wheat gluten basically sugar corn gluten and flavoring. I noticed many posts saying that dogs like these toys almost too much probably because they are addicted to the sugar. I am getting rid of the remaining treats I have and will just use the toy to fill with dog food or more high quality treats.
