  • Not very durable My 9 mo. husky chewed through the blue plastic end to get to the edible portion 50+ lb version. Fortunately he just spit the big chunks to the side to keep going after the bacony taste but 1 it could be dangerous if he didn't do that and 2 I'd originally envisioned filling up the plastic part with peanut butter or broth or something and reusing it I guess that's not going to happen now. It's keeping him busy but isn't exactly what I was expecting.
Chew N' Clean is potentially LETHAL If your dog destroys toys by chewing them the terrible design of this toy REQUIRES chewing of the nylon frame to get at the edible portion. I bought these because of all the favorable reviews. When I saw that the edges were fraying due to my dogs' chewing I figured that perhaps that was to be expected like with a Nylabone. I realized how wrong I was when my dog barfed up some large pieces 24+ hours after I took the Chew N' Clean toy away from her. I am going to watch her closely because I am concerned that there could be more pieces inside her that could cause a lethal blockage. Years ago I had a different dog who chewed up and ate a rubber squeak toy. We took him to the vet and he endured unnecessary surgery because an artifact caused the XRay to appear as if there was a large piece inside him when in fact there wasn't anything. It took home over 2 weeks to recover and cost over $1000. The vet now has a policy of taking a second Xray before performing surgery but I am still reluctant to rush my dogs off to the vet after one eats things she shouldn't.
Was gone in an instant My Scottie and mutt loved this but devoured it in under two hours. Expensive item for 2 hours use.
Love It! I have a 7 month old golden retriever mix and she loves this! In a short period of time she has become obsessed with chewing and taking it with her anywhere she goes in the house. I highly recommend it as a great chew toy.
Silky Mom These chews are great. I have a terrier that is a very agressive chewer. Most chew toys don't last past the first 20 minutes. These keep my dogs occupied for hours and best of all the dogs can't do more than dent the outer covering. I don't have to worry about them swallowing something that might hurt them. I always have a few in the house to keep the dogs occupied.
great for vigorous chewers Have to bulldogs and they love to chew on everything. This product was able to withstand the constant chewing that they do.
My bichon mix adores My bichon mix adores these. He is an avid chewer and picky treat eater but these are so much fun. He makes a big production of finding a safe place to hide it and then a few minutes later gets it and chews it for a little while and then finds another hiding place. This would be the 6th bone I've ordered! I usually feel like it needs to be thrown out before he gets the middle out but for the hours of fun and chew it provides without tummy troubles it's worth it.
Awful and dangerous! I had no idea that this was a dental bone embedded in plastic. What a stupid idea! Who wants their dog to chew and digest plastic along with an edible bone??? I can't believe I wasted my money on this because after I let my dog play with it twice I chucked it out because I didn't want him digesting on plastic. Not to mention the picture is misleading. The whole backside of this bone is covered in plastic.
Pets absolutely LOVE them! I have two Shichons with very different personalities & likes but they both absolutely love this chew toy. They'll chew on it for hours and keep coming back even when the center is almost all gone and it actually leaves a pleasant scent in their breath mouths. I keep a lot of these as part of their necessities.
My dog loves Our labradoodle loves these. They last for several days and are tolerated by her sensitive stomach. They keep her busy and happy.
